Malta has several established shipyards and ship repair facilities offering a complete range of professional services and expertise to tankers, rigs, super yachts, cruise liners, AHTs and bulk carriers.

The island boasts one of the largest drydocks in the Mediterranean, accommodating vessels up to 300,000 tons DWT.  The facility is equipped with rail mounted cranes with sufficient lifting capacity and offers drydocking, refit, repair, maintenance and conversion as well as afloat repairs, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical services, hull treatment and steelworks to all types of vessels.

Other outfits on the island too offer ship repair services both afloat and in floating docks, and can accommodate vessels with an overall length of 140M.

Smaller specialized yards cater for the luxury and mega yacht industry and specialize in refit works on luxury yachts of up to 100 metres.

All yards operate to the highest quality, ISO-certified standards with teams led by some of the most experienced engineers and craftsmen in the international marine industry.
